First WIOŚ Training for Public Service Staff and the RAC Industry
On 3–4 December 2025, we had the pleasure of delivering an F-gas training session for the Regional Environmental Inspectorate (WIOŚ). The training was attended by public service staff and representatives of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning industry.
The training focused on changes to regulations concerning fluorinated greenhouse gases (F-gases) and the practical aspects of their enforcement. The programme covered, among other topics:
- changes to EU regulations (Regulations 2024/573 and 2024/590) and national implementing legislation,
- rules for controlling the trade in F-gases and equipment containing these substances, including practical aspects of operator inspections and the maintenance of equipment logbooks,
- legal issues related to F-gas waste,
- identifying illegal containers and equipment,
- operating portable refrigerant analysers and interpreting measurement results.
The values addressed during the training are in line with the Foundation’s activities under the LEGAL HFC 4 LIFE project, which aims to support cooperation between public authorities and the industry, improve HFC monitoring and combat illegal trading.
