As part of the LEGAL HFC 4 LIFE project, the PROZON Foundation handed over specialised equipment for the identification of refrigerants to the Tax Administration Chamber (IAS) in Szczecin – a refrigerant analyser and a refrigerant detector.
The devices will support inspection activities carried out by the National Revenue Administration in the area of combating illegal trade in fluorinated greenhouse gases (F-gases), in particular HFC refrigerants. The use of modern equipment will enable faster and more precise identification of substances contained in cylinders and refrigeration systems, which is of significant importance for the effective enforcement of applicable environmental regulations.
The LEGAL HFC 4 LIFE project focuses on strengthening cooperation between public administration, inspection services and industry organisations in order to reduce the grey market in F-gas trade and protect the climate.

The LEGAL HFC 4 LIFE project is being implemented to support activities related to the enforcement of regulations on fluorinated greenhouse gases and the reduction of illegal trade in refrigerants. The initiative includes, among other things, training, educational activities and the provision of specialised diagnostic equipment to inspection services.
