GWP (Global Warming Potential)
In accordance with Article 2 of Regulation (EU) No 517/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014 on fluorinated greenhouse gases and repealing Regulation (EC) No 842/2006, “global warming potential” or “GWP” means a climatic indicator expressing the warming effect of a greenhouse gas compared to carbon dioxide (CO₂), calculated on the basis of the effects on the climate of one kilogram of the greenhouse gas over 100 years in comparison with one kilogram of CO₂.
