The PROZON Climate Protection Foundation announces that on 18 April 2024, the first discussion meeting in the series of planned meetings under the “LEGAL HFC 4 LIFE” project will take place. The discussions will focus on the new Regulation of the European Parliament 2024/573 on fluorinated greenhouse gases, replacing Regulation 517/2014.
The aim of these discussions is to develop preliminary recommendations relating both to a possible amendment of national legislation and to further measures to ensure the effective implementation of these regulations in Poland.
During the first meeting, participants will discuss the topic: “How to effectively control the trade in F-gases and products/equipment containing or dependent on F-gases in the light of the provisions of the new F-gas Regulation 573/2024?”.
The meetings will be attended by representatives of public administration bodies, enforcement authorities and research and scientific institutions.
